Working with Cottage Company, I had the opportunity to design a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) for a homeowner with a clear vision of a Mid-Century Modern style. By carefully selecting materials and finishes, we were able to create a space that reflects this iconic design aesthetic, focusing on deep color tiles, floor-to-ceiling tiling in the bathrooms, and the use of terracotta tiles. The cabinetry features dark wood with a slim frame, enhancing the overall Mid-Century Modern look.

The main objective was to bring the homeowner's vision of Mid-Century Modern design to life. This involved thoughtful selection and placement of materials, colors, and finishes that are characteristic of the style. Every detail was considered to ensure the ADU captured the essence of Mid-Century Modern while meeting the functional needs of the space.
